The painting page "Overview" has the following pictures from left to right, from top to bottom:

Expulsion

Scene on a tropical beach: blue sky, no clouds, palm trees leaning over the sea, light sand, empty beach chairs, a beach blanket, picnic utensils - but no more people to be seen! A male tiger has spread out on the ceiling. The head and front body are erect, the abdomen lies on its side, the rear paws casually stretched forward and propped up on a green rucksack!

Expulsion is a topic here in a double sense - initially the tiger with its unusual appearance expelled all beach guests. Furthermore, the tigers are themselves affected by massive displacement in most of their habitats. In India, for example, we are witnessing the extinction of the tiger right now. Once they were to be found on almost the entire subcontinent. Today, small populations are isolated in many small habitat islands with no chance of survival!
Oil on cotton fabric, 120 x 100 cm, glazed wooden frame, completed May 2021.

Risk Flight

Fluse - the black and white tabby cat aged 1/4 year sits in a bed sheet-like landscape in front of a blue sky and looks excitedly upwards. There a colorful butterfly (C-butterfly) flutters threateningly close above her head.
Fluse came from the Lankwitz animal shelter in Berlin in 1981 and lived until 1989. Oil on cardboard, covered with cotton fabric, 30 x 60 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed April 2021.

Seaview Mirror Increase

A giraffe stands in the shallow, turquoise blue water. There is no shore, no horizon to be seen. The surface of the water is mirror-smooth and accordingly the image of the giraffe is clearly reflected. A slight movement of the legs creates rings of water that will now spread across the surface of the water.

Oil on cotton textile, 20 x 100 cm, glazed wooden frame, completed Feb. 2021.

Revier-Defense

A savannah landscape in Africa: blue sky, hills and mountains in the back, in front a valley with another strip of greenery. In the foreground, umbrella acacias and a red, dusty runway. Large white rhinoceros in the picture on the left, moving towards the viewer. On and next to the piste there are 3 cars on their heads, behind them a second rhinoceros. The two obviously viewed the "tin boxes" as intruders into their habitat and unceremoniously knocked them down ’. The lights are still on in the front vehicle, so what's going on is still very current..

Oil on cotton fabric, 120 x 100 cm, glazed wooden frame, completed Jan. 2021.

Three Alemans on the Fasnacht in Freeburg

Three masks grouped. Masks usually have slots through which the wearer can look. Here eyes are painted that give the masks liveliness.

Oil on cotton textile, 80 x 60 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed Jan. 2020.

Security instead of freedom

A black and white spotted cat lay in wait excitedly in front of a living mousetrap. A mouse sniffs in the wire cage and doesn't really know what is happening to it.

Oil on cotton textile on a stretcher, 60 x 30 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed August 2017.

Current hour on climate change

In the German Bundestag. You can see the lectern, behind it the podium of the presidium. A large polar bear is standing by the microphone. At her feet - a little shy - her two bear cubs. The reputation of the 'House of Parliament' is marginally damaged by a few accessories: an empty bottle of champagne rolls across the floor, a condom sticks to a step ..

Oil on cotton textile on a stretcher frame, 100 x 100 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed June 2017.

Cat & mouse

A gray tabby tomcat has sat down next to a computer screen, in front of the mouse pad, and is dozing off.

Oil on cotton textile on a stretcher frame, 30 x 40 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed April 2017.

Little abuse

A red tabby tomcat sleeps on the balcony, on a board by the balustrade. A redstart doesn't like the cat's presence in its territory at all and bravely lets go of a cannonade of abuse right in front of it.

Oil on cotton textile on a stretcher frame, 60 x 30 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed April 2017.

Impression

It happened on a meadow at the mountain 'Schönberg' near Freeburg: a stork in an impressive manner attacks a small hedgehog and tries to impress him.

Oil on cotton fabric on a stretcher, 40 x 30 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed March 2017.

Affection

Two wind turbines have entwined themselves intimately. Meanwhile, a great spotted woodpecker tests the material of a tube to see whether it can be picked up.

Oil on cotton textile on a stretcher frame, 50 x 100 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed March 2017.

Unexpected encounter

A three-colored cat (red-gray-white) has settled on a wooden bollard in the green. Meanwhile a sand lizard climbs the bollard. Both animals have no idea of the presence of the other ..

Oil on cotton fabric on a stretcher frame, 30 x 90 cm, with a glazed wooden frame adapted to the picture, completed December 2016.
